About Recovery Matters

Whether you are looking for help because you have to, you want to, or you have questions about whether or not you need to, Recovery Matters can help. We understand how difficult it is to reach out for help. Fear, confusion, anger, and anxiety frequently accompany this process and it is our goal to make your experience as comfortable as possible, even if there are legal issues involved. We offer a variety of substance use disorder treatment programs serving clients with mild, moderate or severe substance use disorder problems.

The counselors at Recovery Matters have over 35 years combined professional experience diagnosing and treating alcohol and other drug use disorders. We are a state certified substance use disorder treatment facility offering evaluations and a range of evidence-based treatment programs tailored to your individual needs and schedules.

Treatment Philosophy

We believe problem alcohol and drug use affect the physical, social, emotional/psychological, and spiritual functioning of an individual. The cycle can be arrested by abstinence and a recovery  lifestyle.

Accepting, Welcoming, Caring Atmosphere

Our clients consistently comment that they appreciate the accepting, welcoming and caring atmosphere they feel as clients of Recovery Matters. We repeatedly receive feedback such as “it’s like a family here. I really enjoy coming to group.” This is exactly the environment the Owner and Counselors at Recovery Matters have been striving for since they opened the doors. Frequent surprise visits from former clients just to say hello are confirmation to us that we are making a difference in the lives of others. In our opinion, it doesn’t get much better than that.
